"I was born in Panama and raised in Aruba — islands are in my blood. Hawaii I have visited more than 20 times. Beach and sun is not a specialty, it is a lifestyle."
What is your travel philosophy?
"I started in the travel business in 1980 and opened my own agency in 1984. I continue to enjoy my work and my clients — 40 years and counting."
Most memorable travel moment?
"A first-time international traveler to Aruba — she was scared, and I made it feel like next door. She came home and booked her next trip the same week."
What do clients say about working with you?
"That I know the islands because I grew up on one. You cannot fake that kind of knowledge."
